John's writing is so good that I almost can't contain myself. It is so similar to his gospel account. These first four verses are full of credibility and passion and theology, it's almost complicated to understand. But I love how he also claims at the end of this WHY he keeps proclaiming Jesus: "...so that you may have fellowship with us...so that you may fully share our joy."

He cares so much about the people around him. That's his motivation for sharing Jesus.

It's not about John anymore, he already has the joy and fellowship. Now, it's about those who don't have this joy and deep community with others.

I love that. God, please grow my love for others who don't have what you have given me.
