I love a faithful man.
Justus was a man mentioned in Acts 1:23; I'm not sure we ever hear of him again... But, what a faithful man! The 120 disciples of Jesus in the Upper Room nominated two men, one of whom would replace Judas as the final disciple of Jesus' circle of twelve. Matthias won, but I often think of Justus. The Bible says he stayed together with Jesus and His disciples from the time Jesus was baptized by John up to the day of His ascension, a witness to Jesus resurrection. That means he followed Jesus for YEARS with no title, position, or glory for himself. He didn't write a book of the Bible, or start a big church, or win any accolade of which we're aware. He was just a man who humbly and boldly followed Jesus. He was highly thought of by the other disciples who elected him as a candidate for this awesome position. But, in the end, when the job went to someone else, he simply continued how he had started - by following Jesus. What a faithful man!
