Genesis 4:1 NIV84 and Exodus 3:14 NIV84

I could be wrong (it's late and I haven't put a lot of thought into this), but I believe the first time we have a written record of the name for God (YHVH) is spoken is Eve in Genesis 4:1.

But the first time we have a record of God saying it is Exodus 3:14 when he tells Moses my name is "I AM" (YHVH).

Very interesting to me.
