Infinitely More
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
The Lord is able through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. It says it right there in black and white. Do we believe this about the Lord? Do we actually believe He can accomplish anything? Not only accomplish anything and everything we ask but what we think as well. We are well meaning when we say we believe the Lord is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Often times if we would examine our prayer lives our prayers might not reflect that God can accomplish infinitely more than we ask or think. Why is this?
Many times we have limitations which limit the Lord. We innocently begin to label different situations we encounter by degrees of difficulty. We believe certain prayers we pray have varying degrees of difficulty for the Lord to answer. Usually we believe the Lord will answer our prayers but we believe some prayers might be easier for Him to answer than other prayers. All prayers are the same for Him. The Lord does not look at a prayer we pray about a situation or a person and label our prayers by how difficult or easy the prayer will be for Him to answer like many of us do.
Our prayer lives would be revolutionized if we could get a fresh revelation of what the Lord truly can accomplish through us. There are no degrees of difficulty of what God can do. In fact what God can do exceeds measure and description. We need to be freed from our mind set that limits God and pray for confidence and indeed believe the Lord is able. With His help we can.
