2:8-12 sounds a lot like Matt 5:21-48 where Jesus is takingabout the law and applying it to how we should live. It is not the letter of the law but the content and how we apply it to our lives. Jesus finishes this section in 5:48 with the challenge and call for us to be perfect. Is that possible? With Him it is! And by His law we will be judged, the law of liberty.
