Jesus didn't free the slave
Often I feel intimidated that I can't conquer hunger, homelessness, or "free the slave(s)". Jesus didn't free the slave. He (only) healed the slave. I guess the lesson here is that I really don't have to save the whole world's, or city's problems, but I can sure help give a homeless guy bus fare.
