The Apostle Paul boast about his religions background and how he did everything that Hebrew law required to make him Righteous. But he found out that what he thought was adding to his Righteous was really not that important. What is important is knowing Christ. His relationship with Christ is the source of his righteous, not the following of the law. The Apostle Paul also tells us that Religion is not the same as Relationship with Christ and Relationship with Christ is not the same as Religion. Religion is us trying to obtain God's righteousness by our works. Relationship with God allow us to receive righteousness by faith.
