what else is there?
At this time a few of Jesus’ disciples left because they thought it was too difficult a task to give their lives completely over to Him. He then turns to the twelve and asks if they want to leave as well. I love Peter’s response, “To whom shall we go?” They were completely convinced that Jesus was the son of God. All of this sounds great but the truth is we are all at times like those who left. I am convinced that everyone who has ever given their life to Christ at one point or another has wanted to go or even went because the task was too difficult and it called for too much. It’s at these times in our walk with God where we need to remember the words of Peter and say top ourselves, “To whom shall we go?” Because no matter how much I feel my flesh tugging at my spirit God’s Word alone is the source of eternal life and there can be no turning back.
