John 8:43-44 ASV, John 8:47 ASV, John 8:51 ASV and John 8:58 ASV

When reading John 7 & 8 I have been asking myself would I have recognized Jesus as the Messiah who was sent by God? This has concerned me this week. The Jewish Rulers were looking for a Messiah, but had their own idea what kind of Messiah that would be. Today billions have turned away from Christ . God is so precious to me. I pray in the coming days more will seek God out. Turn from sin and follow Christ. My answer to my question is, That God would have opened my eyes to recognize the Son of God, and to follow him! I think of the song, "Open my Eyes Lord!"
