We can be so ridiculous sometimes. We are so sure that we see the whole picture. We know our side of the story and think we know the motives of others. It's in these critical moments that we often form wrong opinions about people or situations because we assume- and we all know what happens when we assume :o) Only God knows the innerworkings of the heart. He's the only one who can see all motives- including our own. Our hearts can deceive us. We can convince ourselves of anything. This is obviously why we must be led by the Spirit and why we have ot be careful not to filter God's commands through our own wants.
