Apparently since this happened before sin entered the world sin and work aren't kissing cousins. That ruins everything I ever thought when I worked in a fast food joint in High School! Furthermore, if the belief that heaven will be Edenic (pre-sin) is hermeneutically sound, then apparently God will give us work and responsibility in the new heaven and new earth. (Hopefully mine won't be grilling burgers in a fast food joint.)
