Sometimes...
Sometimes its the simple reassurance of someone outside our friends or family members, that builds our faith and comforts our sorrow. The bible says she was in deep prayer with god crying and pouring her heart out when Eli entered, after defending herself against accusations the bible said that Eli blessed her and sent her away by saying: Go in peace and may god bless you with what you have asked of him!
It's so easy to get numb to the encouragemnet and blessings that come from those that love us. it's that "I'm your son/daughter so you have to love me and tell me it will be ok" mindset, yet when someone steps in not knowing your situation or circumstances and speaks a blessing over you, somehow it holds value, as it did for Hannah. Remember God is always speaking and sometimes the words you so desperately need/want to hear comes in/through the most unexpected ways
