Most of Romans 8 is talking about salvation. It talks about Jesus being the "first fruit" of the new human. It says that even the creation is waiting on redemption and that our bodies will be resurrected.

That's a far cry from the vague stories of playing some harp while sitting on a cloud when we die. There's a book callled, The Real Heaven, that talks about this passage and others and gives us a picture of Heaven that, honestly, is very excited for me to think about! Take a look!
