God promises that when we need him, he'll be there. There's nothing about him that watches us and likes to see us suffer. His character is that of a loving parent. That of a father who runs to us with open arms, even when we shame him. It is mind blowing to think that an all powerful, mighty God, who has the world at his fingertips would look on me with love and care about even the smallest things. You see, we can trust him with the little things, so why dont we trust him with the big things? When we need him, he'll be there. When we call on him, he'll answer us. Its the wonderful, incomprehensible nature of our Savior. The one who saw our need, even before we did, and sent his son to be a horribly gruesome, beautiful sacrifice of divine love for us. It is the one thing that I know will sustain me, no matter what my life's trials take me through. I HAVE BEEN BOUGHT WITH A PRICE. When I call upon him, he'll answer me. I know this with all of my heart. And no matter what my shifting feelings tell me in moments of darkness, I will rely on God's unchanging promises to guide me through.
