We must follow God!
"It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him". I think this verse so applies to our lives today. We are living in really tough times. I was reading our prayer requests from church this week. It was about sickness requests, Job losses, Divorce, Decisions that needed to be made in families, and Spiritual Strength. Our God is a BIG God! He hears our requests. Every last one of them. In this time of uncertainity, we must follow God and revere him. We need to be shouting Praises and waiving Palm Branches. He is our God! He is our Hope! My father sang a song, before he died. It goes, "This place is not my home, I'm just a passin through. If Heaven's not my home then Lord what would I do. The saints are calling me from Heaven's open door, and I won't be at home in this place anymore." I may have some of the lyrics wrong because this is from memory, but I think you get my drift. This may look like a time of gloom and doom, but as for me I will serve the Lord! I am keeping my eyes on Christ and looking forward, and most of all I am holding fast to him! Amen
