Fashioned
The thought the God has fashioned each and every day of my life is amazing. I guess I take it for granted as I live out each day, but he fashioned each one individually. Just as Jesus was a master carpenter and fashioned individual pieces of furniture for people, God as the wise master Builder and Creator looked down on the substance that would become my life and fashioned every single day I would ever live. He then wrote them all down in the book of my life and is looking down on home I'm doing living each one out.
I question is - How closely am I living out what's written in the book? What's in store for me today that is unusual and supernatural? What is going to take me out of the realm of the ordinary and into the realm of what God has honestly fashioned for me today? These are questions that I must ask myself in preparation for each day.
No matter what season I'm walking through, I can be confident that God has fashioned this day beforehand for me. I can rest assured - "This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." (Ps 118:24)
