Two-Faced Villains-Illustration
Many of us are familiar the Batman villain Two-Face. Two-Face was once Harvey Dent, District Attorney of Gotham City and close ally of Batman. After a criminal disfigured half of his face with acid, Dent became the insane crime boss Two-Face who would choose to do either good or evil depending upon the results of flipping a coin. But for me, the name of this villain sticks out the most, Two-Face. So many times in my christian walk I have had the same experience as Harvey Dent had, a servant of Christ and of others, worked with youth and music ministry, impacting young people for the Kingdom of God, just to have Satan throw something up in my face that makes me hate myself and my actions. He reminds me of my past and who I use to be before Christ. But unlike Harvey Dent, I don't allow it to take control and consume me. I am reminded of the victory brought to me through Christ.
This battle of flesh and spirit is a tough one, but we have victory through Christ. We produce fruit for our labor that exemplifies Christ. We have proof of our victory. Let's not set aside righteousness for what the enemy throws at us
