There’s probably not a more sobering verse in the Bible. The fact that I am going to stand before God for every word that I speak. I will also stand before God for every word I should have said. If I mislead people I’m accountable. Every person will be held accountable for the words they speak and don't speak. You are accountable for the way you use your words to influence others as well

You will be accountable to God according to the level of your influence. What a sobering thought as a parents. So what are you saying to your kids? What are you building into them? Our words have the ability to shape the future of our children. Instead of speaking about how your children are falling apart, start speaking about the potential you know they have.

You will be held accountable every time you use your words to influence someone.
