The Strong Man
Principle: The Man is the Gate of Authority into His home.
U.S. News and World Report headline read, “Dad is destiny!”
• More than any other factor, a biological father’s presence in the family determines a child’s long-term success and happiness.
• David Blankenhorn states, “Fatherlessness is the most destructive trend of our generation.”
It is the scheme of Satan to bind the Fathers so that he can devour the weak, young, and innocent.
How does the Nemesis of Manhood bind Fathers?
His arsenal has many names but the root of all tethers is FEAR.
Precept: Job 1:4-5
“His sons used to take turns holding feasts in their homes, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would send and have them purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.”
• Job was an extremely blessed man. So blessed that Satan accused Job of serving the Lord only for personal gain (Job 1:9).
• Job was also a man of integrity in his speech (Job 2:9).
• Job did have a weakness – his relationship with his children was based upon FEAR.
• Job made 100 sacrifices a year on behalf of his children.
Precept: Proverbs 19:18 - “Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to his death.”

Precept: Galatians 3:29 – “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
We are NOT called children of Job – but children of Abraham. Why?
Precept: Genesis 18:18-19
To direct means to give charge to, to command, to commission, or to give order.
Solomon said, “A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children.”
Abraham established the covenant by directing three generations – Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Determine that you are establishing generations!
Satan’s scheme is to bind the INFLUENCE of the Father.
“Where the purpose is unknown abuse is inevitable.”
A constant barrage on his EXAMPLE has diminished the influence of manhood. We no longer recognize that “Father Knows Best.”
Now, the example of manhood is a beer-gutted buffoon always humoring the more intelligent woman and now children of the household.
The purpose of every male is to become a Father!
What is the biblical definition of Father?
• Source
• Nourisher
• Teacher
• Sustainer
• Supporter
• Founder
• Protector
• Progenitor – meaning to found “generations.”
What happens when you remove the Father? You remove his purposes!
Satan uses multiple weapons to destroy the influence of the Father.
Precept: Matthew 5:28 – “I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

Proverbs 22:14 – “The mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit; he who is under the Lord’s wrath will fall into it.”
Job 31:1-4; 7-12
