Stay Engaged
The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.
Theodore Hesburgh
During the child raring years many marriages drift apart. Raising children places many demands on parents but one thing must remain a priority - that is courting your wife.
In your youth, what did you do to attract your wife to you? You probably spent a lot of money on dating. You strategized your time together, looked for things to do that would be impressive. You fought off others bidding for her attention.
Most men have a tendency to drift through their relationship once they are married. Then when the children are raised couples find that they no longer have the one-on-one connection. Don’t let this happen. Stay “engaged” in the event of marriage.
A wise man once said, “Enjoy the wife that you married as a young man!”
