The call of Christ challenges our understanding and will. Unbelief will prohibit our ability to follow Christ to the fullest. When we grasp who he is, then our life is impacted by the understanding that Christ is calling us to give him our all. It is more than knowing about Christ, but knowing and doing the will of Christ. Like Peter, we say, “you are the Christ” but we must also live our life in full surrender to his purpose. We know who Christ is and we do His bidding.
