John 8:55 NLT

I found this verse, and indeed the last half of this chapter to be a little unsettling. It reads as if Jesus was angry and mocking the crowd (albeit they got mad enough to try to stone Him at the end). I just have a hard time picturing Jesus baiting and name calling a crowd. John certainly reads differently from the other 3 gospels...
