We're busy people! Work and leisure has merged to become a new word - weisure time. While fishing, golfing, spending time with the family has no sacredness to it, we're still working. But many people have confused activity with productivity. Here are a few keys to redeeming the time:

1. Maintain a Priority To-Do List: Focus on the first two priorities, they are the most important and will have the highest impact when completed. Once these two are finished, the other eight will fall pretty quickly.
2. Manage the Time: Give yourself a schedule to get it done and keep moving toward it until finished.
3. Focus on the Finish: Most people stop at 80%. That's why they never experience the momentum of excellence. Stopping short is mediocrity.
4. Maintain Order and Organization: Even though many have adopted "casual" lifestyles maintain a professional level of work. The richest man on earth suggested that a lazy, and slothful demeanor will cost you the job (Proverbs 13:4).
5. Stay on Task: Be diligent in the work until you push through the opposition. "Nothing of great value is ever achieved without facing violent opposition." Albert Einstein
6. Avoid Disruptions: Although you are connected 24/7 must maintain control of the contact. When in a meeting, don't allow an interruption. During breaks take the message, return the call, schedule the conversation.
7. Avoid unnecessary Follow-up: Make confirmations through non-verbal communication.
8. In the Company of the Great, Don't Entertain the Jester. When I am with my children or my wife, I take very few phone calls, only during working hours, and only for a short conversation. By the way, God will NOT interrupt your Ipod to talk with you.

Proverbs 13:4
