What a sobering and powerful rebuke to the church today. God cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. Or, to put it another way, God is repulsed by iniquity along with the sacred assembly.

For us, God cannot stand those who put on church, yet tolerate sinfulness and do little (if anything) to foster the fear of God.

Isaiah 1:13
