This past week in our youth group we talked about the third part of our FOCUS series and that was Focus on Jesus.

We talked about giving up our lives, ourselves for Jesus. Focusing on Jesus and everything else will fall into place. Matthew 6:33 says that if you seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness, all these things will be added to you. Students are worried about so many things, there are so many things that they need to have in order in their life.

Grades seems to be a major thing in their life. especially at this time of the year when school is almost out for the summer. so it's important to remind them that the focus of their life is not their grades, it is never grades or school, or friends or even family. The number priority in their life, in our life should always be Jesus Christ.

When Jesus Christ becomes your focus, the rest of the worries that you have will fade to the side and things that used to be a big deal won't be a big deal anymore. the money problems that you had before won't seem so major because you won't be thinking about them and worrying about them all the time, you will be thinking about Jesus all the time. There is power in Focus and there is power in Jesus. The most power in your spiritual walk and in your life will be when you Focus on Jesus.
