Living among the pigs
The passage of scripture is probably one of the most read in the Bible. It is the parable of the prodigal son! but, have you ever sat down and actually dissected it verse by verse. The scripture that always gets me is 15 and 16. This son (of a King) subjected himself to working and living among the pigs. In Hebrew culture and even today pigs are looked at as unclean. My question to you all that read this is have you ever lived with pigs? I know that I have.
I am a bible college graduate, after college I went out on my own. I took my inheritance, so to speak, and went to a far off country. I lost everything I had. My peace, joy, happiness, and everything else that was given to me by my Father. From 2003-2007 I was in my famine, then one night while partying I met this girl. We started talking. It turns out we had similar backgrounds and we were both currently living with pigs. We made a decision to go back to our Father. Long story short, I am now married to that girl and we are expecting our first child and we are heavily involved the Father's Kingdom.
