BFF - Best Friends Forever
How you ever been caught by surprise and unexpected visitor (whether you know them or not) knocks at your door?
There may be panic and embarrassment — my house is a mess, I need to clean up; or maybe indifference - I will get rid of them as quickly as possible; or maybe you don't want to answer the door at all — this isn't the right time, I don't want to deal with this person, it is too uncomfortable — so you hide hoping the person will leave soon; or maybe there is excitement, you have been waiting for the visitor to come — and no matter how your house looks or how you were feeling — you throw open the door, your arms open to hug the visitor or receive the visitor into your home.
Jesus is standing outside our heart's door, knocking; and we may feel all these emotions. If you don't believe in Jesus Christ, open the door, invite Him in - He will help you clean up the mess, embarrassment, indifference, discomfort and He will love your excitement in seeing Him, welcoming Him - He is your Friend!
Everyday as believers, my we keep believing, opening our hearts, minds and souls to Jesus Christ, who we asked to come in our lives and reign! Best Friends Forever!
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.~ Revelation 3:20, NLT
