I think that this verse falling here shows a lot about how we should live. As I sit and think about my life, what I do on a daily basis, looking back I may have done many things for myself. I'm tired of my selfishness. I'm tired of being fake. I'm tired of wanting people to see what I do. In my head, I know that what I am doing is not for me. I know God is the focus. Everything Jesus say here in Matthew 6 really does help to put my work and life into perspective. What is done in secret is more important than what is done in public. And verse 33 is the perfect wrap up to the chapter. When I am actively seeking God, and His kingdom, thing happen that I would never imagine. I thank my small group for the challenge of looking at my day and noting where I actively seek Him.
