In this verse we are instructed not to live as slaves to our pleasures so it can be assumed that we too are slaves to somthing (like many of us are today...money, lust, addiction, etc.) but in the prior verse it states that slaves are to obey our masters. So are only some types of "slavery" ok? Interesting. I understand the distinction but find it interesting these two are so close.

Titus 3:3
