One of God's greatest attributes is that he is merciful, and that he will always forgive us, no matter what. But a lot of times, that's the only way we live. We think that we have unlimited chances, and that God will always forgive-he will, and that's good for our salvation, but we won't do any good in the meantime. Think: if I'm constantly partying, God will forgive me every time, but no one will take me seriously if I try to talk to them about what God's done for me...because my life isn't any different!
We can keep being redeemed and forgiven, but is that the way you really want to live? There is so much more to being a christian than getting eternal life..but once we get into this rut, we lose our saltiness, and thusly our ability to reach out to others. Stay salty! :)
