dont throw your pearls to pigs
For the longest time I struggled with this and thought about it and wondered what it meant. Then, last night, at church, it clicked. Last night's message was about sex, and it reminded me of this so much. I don't know if this is exactly what Jesus was talking about when he said it, but it does work-I kind of saw this as your pearls are your virginity and sexuality, and if you just go and throw it to pigs, people that aren't married to you and don't love you will just take that gift and trample it under their feet. Then it will rip you apart..your self-worth and even your relationships will suffer from it.
