A disciple doesn't just reorient their work life to follow Jesus, it changes their relationships as well. These followers didn't just leave their identity, which was their work, but they left behind their father (family) to pursue walking with Jesus. A disciple radically rewires their connections, every relationship they have becomes adjusted through the filter of Christ and their relationship with Him.
