♥ Beauty from ashes ♥
I read Isaiah 61:3 which says that he gives beauty for ashes on a Monday. Then, on the following Tuesday, God gave me a revelation about the verse. You see, I was taking care of one of the horses at the farm I ride at, and the horse had rain-rot; in order to get it off of him, you have to pick it off, and it is really painful for the horse. In my case, the horse was moving back and forth, and kicking (he is very sensitive), and while I was talking to him trying to soothe him, I said "baby, I am not trying to hurt you, but, in order for you to heal and look beautiful again, you're going to have to go through a little pain.
At that moment, I felt like God was laughing at me as He said, "Yeah, listen to yourself; you seem to have a lot of faith in Isaiah 61:3 when it's not you going through the pain; don't you see that it is not that I don't care, and it's not that I hate you; I can feel the pain that you going through, but I can see beauty coming from the hearth. I'll give you beauty for ashes, but you have to go through the fire first."
