An affirmation that God's promises never fail. God promises Abraham that his descendants will number like dust of the earth - countless! And that he will be father of many nations. And yet, few chapters down, we see Abraham and Sarah doubting God's promise. Limiting God to our human circumstances, we fail to see that God's ways are higher than ours.
I find myself doubting God - not trusting Him with this coming year. I know it up in the head (knowledge), but I do not have the wisdom (applying the head knowledge with proper reverence and fear of God). 내 이름이 잠언에서 따온 지혜라는 irony!
Grip me with your almighty power - when I am in proper awe of you, when I am trembling in reverence and fear, I know that the God that I serve is an almighty God with whom nothing is impossible. 어이, 꿈쟁이. 제발 하나님의 꿈을 꾸자.
