Ah, here it is, the famous Thorn In My Side portion of Paul's story, or as the Message says, "I was given the gift of a handicap." It seems like many know about this, that Paul had some sort of issue that plagued him in his life. What we fail often times to also recount what Paul says about his "handicap."

"I didn't think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,

My grace is enough; it's all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.

Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quite focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift."

What is your "handicap?" What is that thing in life that plagues you, and you beg God would remove? I venture we all can recognize something in our life like this. Are you at the point where you can truly say God's grace is enough? If not, what might you need to do in order to arrive at such a place?

Imagine for a moment what your life may look like if you fully allowed the strength of God to come into its own through your weakness. Ponder that for a second. It would be amazing what our lives would look like; be like. I believe that the spiritual position of allowing God to work through our weaknesses and being content for Him to do so is one of our most powerful God tools (10:3-6). Plan today to start if you've not already, or continue to allow God to work; really work in and through your weaknesses. And never forget that truly, His grace is enough.

As a closing exercise I invite you to watch the following video and make it your prayer for today.
