Filled with Joy!
John 17:14-19: In these passages we are reminded to be examples of Christ who was not of this world. We find our example of Him in God's word; making ourselves not of this world and that being safe from evil depends on our commitment to Christ and truth in His word. Jesus Christ, by His sacrifice sends us into the world to teach the truth. (v. 16-18) Being Holy then is daily "right action" to it's fullest according to God's word. Fully is a great word! Being filled with God, filled with truth, filled with everything He knows, full of everything He has for us to do, that's the example He gives us to follow! Following the world will give us nothing. If you look back at verse 13 you will find that Jesus wants us to be examples of Him so we can be filled with His Joy!
