READ: "Every time we think of you, we thank God for you." - 1 Thessalonians 1:2 (MES)

REFLECT: My first thought is that you can hear the pride in Paul's voice in these passages. However, he makes it clear that he is not proud, but instead gives all the credit to GOD. Paul has mentored these people and now he is blessed to see the results of his ministry. My hope is that one day, I can give the same type of thanks for those who I've had the chance to mentor.

RESPOND: Father, I thank you for working through me. Please forgive me for not always involving you in my work. Put your hand on me and on my students and learners, so that one day I may praise you in the same way Paul and Timothy did. Make it so. This is true.
