This scripture is pivotal in our understanding of "who" we are in Christ. Paul tells Timothy that the spirit God has granted every Christian is "bold, loving, and disciplined." What does that mean for us in everyday life. For me it simply means that i must allow my spirit to live through me. I have to quit trying so hard to do the right things and just let my spirit guide my day. Another is to realize that in another letter Timothy would've read (Ephesians) he tells us that He has seated us above all the earthly rulers and all authority in the universe. This literally means that we have the power to do anything that Jesus did while on earth! We have the Fullness of Christ as Paul puts it in Ephesians. Today be reminded who you are in Christ, knowing this allow your spirit to be bold,loving and disciplined.
