This is imperitive to us as Christians. If we call ourselves this we must "abstain from wickedness.." In my life what does this look like? It means for me to be set apart from the rest of the world in my hopes, dreams, ambition, and how we live day to day. If we do this Paul tells us that we will be used by God to do the things that God has planned for us since before we were born. We must eliminate our own agenda's and be willing to live a "pecuiliar" life. We will be scrutinized and tested. Paul tells us to approach these tempters with grace and peace. We must realize that they are being used by the devil to inhibit our progress toward living the life God wishes for us. This passage should open our eyes to how the Devil will use whomever he can to stop us from impacting his world.
