Weep between the porch and the alter!
What a great word about our position as Christians! Sound the alarm, intercession,(Ezekiel 22:30) that is what we are called to do, blow the trumpet. That is to give warning for the day of the Lord indeed is at hand! Genuine repentance, that is the call here in verse 12-17, to turn to the Lord with fasting, weeping, and mourning; rending our hearts to Him, laying it all aside for Him as He laid it all aside for us!!! He brings all these promises when and only when we turn back to him not only here but all through out the Bible, (2 Chronicles 7:14) is a frequently quoted classic example of this call to repentance! The deal with repentance is the position of the heart not the body or anything else but the heart, He says He looks at the heart of man (1 Samuel 16:7, Jeremiah 17:10) awesome!
So let's really spend some time in true repentance and intercession and weep between the porch and the alter!!
