A picture
This is a beautiful representation of what exactly a church should look like. Everyone is different and has different talents given by the spirit. If we are striving to be closer to Christ we will grow together. As we grow up into the things God has put before us we should resemble the picture of Christ. Too many times at different churches I've been a part of it is more like a social club. Sunday mornings/afternoons are a mere celebration of what God has done for you in the past and what He will do for you in the future. Too many times I've seen a senior pastor take the wrong roads, too many times I've seen aspects of the body be neglected. Our churches need more disciples of God. A disciple is someone who literally gives their life to God. As Christians we are called to be this, some of us need to take this more seriously. How are we supposed to bring others to Christ if they don't see it in our lives? in our churches? in our speech? in our ACTIONS? In Ephesians paul tells us we are the workmanship of God. This means we are put here to literally WORK for God, We are HIs way to intervene into the worlld....Maybe I (we) should act more like this?
