LIGHT AND TRUTH
Have you ever felt alone in a foreign culture? If you have, you can find identification in this Psalm. The culture, here, however, is that of an ungodly nation, instead of just a "foreign" culture.
Light and Truth, however, are cultural distinctives of a walk with God, through the Redemption found in Christ.
The Psalmist indicates that Prayer is a mighty resource at times like these - not merely that show God what is going on, but that we might demonstrate that we recognize what is going on.
In that recognition we come as full recipients of His mercy, and can experience the Power of His Grace, demonstrated in insights of Light and Truth.
