The Benefit of Promotion - Ishus is a synonym for authority which denotes ability or force. The natural process of following great leaders should result in becoming better by default. Legitimate authority in your life will mentor you and cause you to grow wiser. Solomon said, "He who walks with the wise grows wise."

Jesus said, "Come, follow me and I will make you..." (Matthew 4:19).

There is a drafting effect that happens when you are under legitimate authority. To understand this, simply look at the aerodynamics of NASCAR racing. The cars are almost all within fractions of ability yet the driver who knows how to draft effectively wins the race. Using the science of force and resistance, the skilled driver positions himself behind other drivers in order to sling-shot ahead later in the race.
