Lets show them.
These verses speak volumes to the "reason" we were created. It wasn't so that God could watch us and laugh when we screw up. He's not a bully with a prod looking for an opportunity to scorn us. From the begining He has been trying to show that we are one humanity in Christ, who is ultimately human. As we grow closer to Christ we become a little more "human." The church is called the body of Christ and we are being used to show the "heavenly authorities" that the human race can love each other when we are in Christ. I believe that God has this picture of all people, mexican, black, white, Indian, muslim, jewish, rapists, innocent, poor, rich, Christs love that crosses all boundaries, and leaves even the angels in awe. We will one day shock heavens with the love that we will exude in Christ. Throughout all of Paul's letters we do everything out of love. He describes God as "love" why is it so hard for us to accomplish this. Romans 7 says it this way: "For what I am doing I do not understand, for i am not practicing what i like to do, rather I am doing the very thing I hate" Even Paul one of the greatest of Christs followers struggled to do what he was called to do. The answer to this paradox is given by Paul saying that his mind is always on God and he realizes that his earthly body has another ruler while on earth. His dead body wants one thing but his being and soul belongs to God. Therefore there is no condemnation because God has forgiven us our past/present/futurre!
