THE BEST DIVING BOARD
2 Peter 1:1 In these verses we have building materials in which to create the greatest diving board in the pool of life.
( now that sounds cool doesn't it) It starts out with "for this reason" If we look back to verse 3 we see that His divine power has given us everything we need for life and Godliness through our knowlegede of Him..."
So because of this { for this reason ) if we choose to build our diving board with a solid foundation of faith , goodness and knowledge. A support structure of self control perseverance and Godliness and bolts of brotherly kindness attaching the board of love we are promised to jump higher and dive deeper as verse 8 says"... increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So there you have it. If you want to know and grow in your knowledge of who this Jesus is ,then DIVE IN ,
but make sure you started from the best built diving board using the best materials of verse 5.
