Galatians 5
We are to stay firm and enjoy our liberty in Christ, we are not to try to save ourselves by trying to keep the law and be under bondage again.
We are not free to do whatever we want, we are not free to sin.
Jesus has set us free, free to live for Him and allow the fruit of the Spirit to grow and mature in our lives.
Paul said that if we walk in the Spirit, we will NOT fulfill the lust of the flesh. To me, to walk in the Spirit means to be in step with the word of God, not running ahead of God, not lagging behind. To walk is a normal, everyday thing. We are to be in tune with God on a daily basis, in every aspect of life.
The works of the flesh are evident, but also evident are the fruit of the Spirit. Let us be known as Christians who are walking daily with God, with the fruit of the Spirit evident in our lives.
