Praise God for Pastors who preach the Gospel - Religion or Jesus: Which Side Are You On?
Do you know enough about Theology to be dangerous? Look at your fruits, has your water down speech set a person’s life on a course to hell? [James 3:6] Do you know someone who knows enough about Jesus to be a snare to another’s spiritual growth? Are you leading in a ministry and can you show the gospel with the Bible? Christianity is NOT reading your ESV or podcasting James Macdonald, John Macarthur and Mark Driscoll; that would be going through the motions – rather Christianity is about following Jesus in a radical way, by your ENTIRE life not just in your liesure.
Do you know enough about Jesus that you do not need Him? Your morality is NOT salvation. You hearts are wicked [Jeremiah 17:9]. Your church attendance is not spiritual growth. You religion are deceitful [Psalm 120:2]. You friendships are not love if they do not exort you [Proverbs 27:6].
Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the LORD and turn away from evil [Proverbs 3:7 emphasis mine
