Only if Cain had not allowed his emotions to control his faith. Maybe we wouldn't see murders every night on the 6 O'clock news? You see Cain killed his brother long before the fields. If a man is angry then it is as good as murder. That's why God tells us to be slow to anger. Now let's pull some good from these verses. I believe this was God's second test for man. If Cain would have been patient instead of being quick to anger he too would have been blessed in his due season...key word "his." So many times we look at others blessings and wish them to be our own. All the while God is trying to give you your blessing but you can't see it because you are to busy looking in your neighbor's window. Instead of being happy for them and rejoicing with them we are trying to figure out how to and how they got what they got. Just be thankful for what you have. SUCCESS IS THANKFULNESS.
