What is Humility?
Humility is the FEAR OF THE LORD?
It is NOT: being pushed around, staying silent when I have been wronged or any of the other misconceptions that I grew up with.
I will not FEAR man, I will fear the LORD, He alone is beyond 3D. I will not fear man, I will RESPECT him.
What is the FEAR of the Lord?
It is a combination of reverence, awe and love. A gift of the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 11:2). Something that David could delight in. It is NOT the piss-in-your-pants kind of fear; that is: if You LOVE the Lord.
This verse has just changed some major mindset in my head. In Uganda here, humility means quiet, easily suppressed, easily gives way ....
Praise the Lord!!
