I'm going to share something I feel has been laid on my heart by God this morning. This is the following.

When you die, what do you want people to say about you at your funeral? "She had so many shoes!", "He was so rich!", or "she wasn't a very good friend, but she sure was pretty..."?
Those words are not what I want said about me. I want my legacy to be more important than shoes, money, or beauty.
How about these? "he had such good charecter!", "she had such a heart for God!", "he was such an amazing role model... We were touched by his life."
Those are some words to be proud of.

And, don't get me wrong... In the end, it's not about what people say about you. It's about the legacy you leave behind and the soul you take with.

Mark 8:36 says this: "it is worthless to have the whole world if they lose their souls."

So, don't get so wrapped up in the stuff in this world (i.e. Beauty, popularity, money, ect.). Be caught up in Jesus and where your soul will end up.
